Belmar Inlet
I took this picture around 9:30 pm off of the Belmar Inlet on August 15th. I shot it with my Canon 5D with a 16-35 lens. I have become very interested in night photography and the tones light creates when the sunsets during long exposers. (1 minute 35 second exposure).

Chris this is a really cool picture, the colors and lighting are really pretty. I like how the focus is not centered.
Chris, I think this is a great shot. I've been to Belmar a few times so that's what initially attracted me to the photo (I'm from Jersey). I love the contrast of the solid, hard lines of the industrial metal structure in the foreground against the soft pastels and lights of the background. The mood of this dusky photo is striking!
Chris, I absolutely love this picture. I really like how the yellows of the lights in the background look against the purples. Initially this is such a calm shot, but when I look past the foreground at the lights, I can see that there is excitement back there. The solitude of this picture really makes me want to see what's happening beyond the inlet. You've really captured an stunning image.
Chris, this is really beautiful, love the composition and colors. Also, I think I can see my house.
I definitely think this was a creative picture. The composition seems extremely strong. You followed the rule of thirds very well. I've never been to New Jersey before, and after seeing all these pictures of it, I really want to go! I think that night photography is very interesting and maybe I should look more into it!
